The Bake Cell Foundation provides three scholarships to support students exploring science, creativity, and community impact:
• The Bake Cell Foundation STEM Scholarship — $5,000 (3 awards)
• Elijah Brooks Fine Arts Scholarship — $5,000
• Tyana Parker STEAM Internship Scholarship — $5,000
Each scholarship supports students pursuing education or experiences in STEM, the arts, or interdisciplinary STEAM pathways.
Applications open in the Fall and are reviewed annually, and awardees are announced each spring (February/March).
STEM Scholarship
This scholarship supports high school seniors and undergraduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) fields.
Recipients are students who show both academic potential and a commitment to using science to improve their communities. The award helps cover tuition, school associated fees, textbooks, or lab/research expenses for those continuing their education in the sciences.

Elijah Brooks Fine Arts Scholarship
Created in honor of Elijah Brooks, this scholarship recognizes students with exceptional talent in the visual or performing arts who use creativity as a tool for expression, empowerment, and community impact.
The award encourages young artists to pursue formal training or college degrees that expand access to the arts and representation in creative industries.
Award amount: $5,000
Tyana Parker STEAM Internship Scholarship
Created in honor of Tyana Parker, this STEAM Internship Scholarship supports students participating in hands-on learning experiences that combine science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.
This award helps cover costs associated with unpaid or underfunded internships, summer research programs, or community projects that foster innovation and creativity.
Award amount: $5,000
Scholarship Eligibility & Requirements
To be considered for a scholarship from The Bake Cell Foundation, applicants must meet the following general requirements:
• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident currently enrolled in high school, college, or an accredited training program
• Have a demonstrated interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) through coursework, extracurriculars, or personal projects
• Submit a completed online application form with accurate and honest information
• Provide a personal statement (500 words) describing academic goals, creative interests, and community impact.
• Submit a transcript, resume, and recommendation letter to support your application

There is no strict GPA requirement. We understand that grades don’t always reflect a student’s potential or passion.
If your GPA is lower than you’d like, use your personal statement to explain any challenges you’ve faced and, more importantly, how you plan to “turn it around.”

Priority is given to graduating high school students in the Oklahoma City metro area, however out-of-state students attending Oklahoma colleges/universities/trade schools are welcome to apply.

Applications are reviewed by a committee that evaluates academic effort, creativity, community engagement, and alignment with The Bake Cell Foundation’s mission.

Recipients will be notified by email after the review period. This is usually during the months of February and March.
